Procrastination..... And Room Redo 2015!

Hey guys, you guessed it! It's Ashleigh.
   I have a bad feeling that I'm going to keep saying "I'll put up my Etsy store by the end of this month," and then nothing's going to happen. This time, I have no explanation. Uh, well, no GOOD explanation. The simple answer here is one word. Procrastination.
     I've been looking at the IKEA website (IKEA!!!!! I understand why people like it so much now!!) and trying to figure out how I'm gonna redo my room this year. The way that I wrote that makes it sound like I redo my room every year. HA! Wouldn't that be nice? But no, the last time that my room was redone was when I was nine. Currently, my room is half bright green and half purple and covered in bug art. One of my walls is entirely covered by those little wooden cutouts that you can buy at the craft store, and the rest of the walls are full of cute little illustrations of bugs and flowers. And fake flower garlands EVERYWHERE. My room looks like a garden. Let's count how many bug/nature related things are hanging on my wall right now! 1, 2, 3,......28, 29! 29 things! Darn, that's more than I thought. But there's more- the rest of my wall space is full of decorations that I've had since I was a baby! I have a better one. Let's count how many things that I want to take off of my wall. 1, 2, 3,..... 46, 47 things! Phew! And if you want to count the chair rail that separates the green paint from the purple paint, you've got 48!
     Okay, that was enough counting and complaining for this post. How about I show you what I'd like to get from IKEA? Sound good? No? I'm gonna show you anyway :P BTW, these are just the pictures from the website; I didn't buy these yet, and my photos would be pretty cruddy compared to these.

Etsy Shop Information Time!

Ashleigh here,
     Hey y'all! Long time no see! I can explain though, I had a science fair project that I COULD NOT GET TO WORK!! I must have spent hours trying to get this project to work; but I did, eventually... I'm not gonna go into too many details, It'll just bring back memories of my past failures...*shudder*.

     On a happier note, I finally got a lot of work done for my Etsy shop! Whoop! I made a few sheets on the computer to fill in with information about the products that I'm going to sell. My goal was to open up the shop by the end of this month, but I'm thinking that it'll be more like the middle of March by the time that I finish making things. A few of the things that I'll be selling are crocheted turtles in two sizes, baby bonnets, and other stuff that I'm not really sure about yet. You'll see when I open up shop :)

Hi!
     Let me just start off by saying this- introductions are so weird. I'm really bad at writing them, and I apologize. Let's begin!
     I'm Ashleigh. I decided to create this blog to showcase the knit and crochet patterns that I've created and some other projects, too! Most of my patterns/projects are going to be geared toward children and babies, but there will be the occasional adult/teen project here or there. There will also be some stuff about reborn dolls and other dolls in general, too (In case you don't know, reborn dolls are really realistic baby dolls that are usually sized to be as big as a real baby. You can find a really informative wikipedia article about them HERE). The main reason that I started this blog was for stuff about dolls, but I decided to make it more crafty.
     I'm in the process of starting an Etsy store, where I will sell some of the stuff that I've crocheted. Hopefully that will be up soon! My little store there is called "Artsy Ashleigh Studios". I really don't know what else to tell all of you... Like I said before, I suck at intros. I guess that's it!
